Around the end of January, Walter K Lew invited me to perform at the premier program of what hopes to be a sustained and expanding performance group, dubbed ShadoWord. The NY performances featured Paolo Javier, Mike Estabrook, Ernest Concepcion, dennis M. somera, Mark Nowak, Kate Ann Heidelbach, Wang Ping, Jeremy James Thompson, Linh Dinh and were, by all accounts, hugely successful.
I'm revisiting the same piece, Long_Life, tomorrow (2/20) at San Francisco's BlueSix space, 3043 24th St. @ Treat, in a series curated by my brother, Luke Westbrook. Luke will play a solo set on guitar and melodica, and Chris Peck , aka Peck the Town Crier, will do his thing.
